Lifestyle Services Group – Refer A Friend Scheme
Brief: Lifestyle Services Group (LSG) contact centre tasked Feather Brooksbank with re-launching their Refer a Friend scheme as interest had dwindled.
Solution: Employees can earn up to £750 by recommending their friends to join the company. This is more competitive than similar local contact centre schemes, hence creating the ‘Splash the Cash’ theme.
On the launch day, we ran an event where employees could nominate their managers/colleagues to get soaked in the Pitch Burst game. The event was filmed and used as a viral email and on their website - www.splashthecash.info. Teaser clips were also shown on the plasma screens around the contact centre.
The launch was also supported with a dedicated microsite and various promotional materials around the contact centre.
Results: The re-launch of this campaign generated over 60 new referrals on launch day alone and they continue to roll in. It has also brought the internal recruitment brand up to the same standard as their external activity, and has brought a sense of fun and interest to the scheme.
